BIG10 SALE and a BIG10 Story. :)

For many of you who have followed me for years, you already know that my youngest daughter is a competitve swimmer.

She's had quite a ride along the way!

Rina started swimming competitively around six years old but she actually learned to swim at age two.

 Ages 2, 6, 12 and 18. 

She broke a state record at age 12. She was invited to a USA Zone Camp at age 14. When she was a freshman in high school, she was the first high school girl state champion swimmer that McFarland high school had ever had.

She swam at many national meets throughout the years and became pretty fast! In her junior year, she decided she wanted to keep on swimming in college and started looking for the perfect school. She was recruited by four Big10 and other colleges and she ultimately chose the University of Minnesota!

In the fall, she moved into her college dorm and began college training with her new team.

As a college freshman, she has already posted many new lifetime best times! She's very dedicated to the team and we only got to see her for two days over Thanksgiving and three days over Christmas due to her rigorous training schedule. Certainly not long enough to unpack anything!

And now, she is at her very first BIG10 meet as a Baby Gopher. 

Tom and I are fortunate enough to be able to be here and watch the her and her team swim this week and we are really excited! It's been a long time since we got to see her swim or got to see her at all! 

We just want her to have fun and enjoy the experience of the BIG10 meet. (She's already proven herself this year by posting best times and scoring points for her team.) We hope she just relaxes and enjoys the moments. She's certainly worked hard and done everything she was supposed to do. Hopefully she will come away with a great experience and she'll be ready and excited for the next season!

Sneak Peek Day 2, and new video and more!

Hi Everyone!

Today we have our second sneak peek for our new release coming this Thursday night at 7:00 PM Central time at www.ginakdesigns.com!

This peek is from a new stamp set by Melanie Muenchinger! This set is filled with fabulous flowers in both solid and sketchy styles for 2-step stamping, black magic, solid stamping, coloring and all kinds of wonderful techniques in between. With a variety of solid and sketchy vases and greetings, this set will allow you to create little bouquets for all occasions! 

And Melanie has posted an introduction video for you so you can see a little bit of this huge set in action! Check out this beautiful single layer card which features a mix of bold and line art floral elements and an array of fun little vases!

A sneak peek, hand stamped jewelry, boxes and more!
