New release preview blog hop

Today, the illustrators and I are showcasing many of the new stamp sets in our first ever Illustrator Blog Hop. Our illustrators get their own stamp sets a couple of weeks in advance of our release. We know how much you love to see the new sets in action, so we decided to each feature a project using the new stamp sets we designed.
I decided to feature the brand new StampTV kit called Sun-Kissed Autumn. This kit is full of whimsical images- perfect for early fall stamping.

The card I made is one that will be featured in our new release video presentation tomorrow. The tree trunk and leaves are separate images so you can stamp them in different colors. And there is also a stamp of circles to be used as apples in your want to take the tree a step further.

I used the thumping technique for my tree to give the leaves a more autumn-like effect.

I also wanted to show you the new patterned paper pack being released this month. This one is also in the new StampTV kit.

In addition to the Sun-kissed Autumn 6" X 6" paper pack, we have four new card stock colors that will be available as single colors and in the Sun-kissed Autumn assortment. This card stock coordinates with the new Sun-kissed Autumn patterned paper and the new Sun-kissed Autumn 3/8" ribbon assortment.

The Cherry Red, Honey Mustard and Tomato Soup are all base weights, perfect for card bases and accents. The Dusty Sage is a layering weight, perfect for accents, layers and cutting on the Silhouette Cameo and other electronic cutters. (We will be offering Dusty Sage in a base weight in the future.)

Release Party Information
Tomorrow, (Tuesday,) from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM central time, the design team, illustrators and I will be partying over at StampTV! All of the new products including stamp sets, card stock, patterned paper, ribbon, Silhouette cut files and the new StampTV kit will be released right at 11:00 AM central time. We will be hanging out and chatting in the release party chat thread, sharing samples, showing full stamp set reveals, and hosting contests and a release party challenge. There will also be a full presentation video featuring some of the new sets being released. The rest of the sets will be featured in other upcoming videos throughout the month of August.

Sneak peeks 4 and 5!

Here are two more sneak peeks for you!

First, Tami Mayberry has touched my heart with her newest set! This is something I ALWAYS say to my girls and now I will have the perfect stamp set to make them cards with that same sentiment. Plus, there are more fun images and adorable greetings that will "brighten" anyone's day.

Then, Theresa Momber brings the warmth of an autumn country day with her newest work of art!
With beautiful hand-drawn images that you would see on an fall drive through the countryside, this set will take you through the season and beyond.

Tomorrow, the illustrators and I have a surprise for you! We have put together a blog hop, each featuring our new stamp sets so you can get some project ideas early! Then on Tuesday morning from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM central time, we will be hanging out at StampTV for our July release party! I'll have more details about that tomorrow, so make sure you stop back!

Sneak Peeks- Day 2

Yesterday, I took a day off to head to Ikea in Chicago. I've decided that organizing my stamp room is LONG overdue. I'll share pictures once the monumental task is complete. In the meantime, I have two more fun sneak peeks for you~

Melanie Muenchinger has created the perfect fall edition to her basket series! Whether you are sending off a student to college or getting a jumpstart on your Halloween projects, this set will fill your basket stamps will a variety of autumn cheer! And if you LOVE our clear stamps, the Holiday Basket stamp set will now be available in clear as well!

Becky Oehlers has created a fantastic set of labels, (complete with Silhouette Cameo cut files,) that will take you from card making and scrapbooking to labeling treats from the kitchen in plenty of time for gift giving! Whether you are labeling homemade jams and jellys or sending a card to your favorite teacher, friend or soldier, this set will be a desktop favorite this fall!

Sneak Peek #1

This month's first sneak peek features a stamp set by our newest illustrator, Beth Silaika. Beth has brought a whole new style to the Gina K. Designs catalog. This gorgeous set of stippled images along with useful greetings will make you crave the upcoming autumn season and the stamping goodness that comes along with it! More to come~

New Release Blog Hop- Day 3

Today is the final day of our new release blog hops and today we are featuring two new sets including the new set The Good Life, with illustrations by Heather Rolin and the new One free with 3 that I designed called Assorted Greetings.

The design team has many beautiful projects featuring The Good Life and I will be posting a video featuring that set soon.

My project today features the new Hello Sunshine StampTV along with the new One free with 3, Assorted Greetings.

It's always difficult to know how to decorate the inside of your card, but with Assorted Greetings, you will have what you need to stamp both inside and out.

I used the Get Well Soon Greeting for outside the card.

Then, on the inside, I added one of the inside greetings from the set and decorated it with the same outside focal images. The focal image is light enough to write over but adds a little something to the plain white canvas.

New Release Blog Hop- Day 2

Today, the Design Team has put together another blog hop showcasing two more new stamp sets just released.

Being featured today is the new set I Do! by Becky Oehlers and the new Tropical Nature stamp set by Theresa Momber.

The I Do! stamp set is perfect for wedding and anniversary cards, however, the elements that come along with this set are fantastic for any occasion!

Tropical Nature is perfect for summer cards but it is also a very useful set for scrapbooking cruises, trips to Florida and to create some tropical themed home decor.

For this card, I mixed Tropical Nature with Melanie Muenchinger's new Pretty Patterns and this month's new One free with 3 set- Assorted Greetings.
