Hi Gina, Boy it is hard to pick a favorite. Lately, I've been challenged the most by watercolor. I've been using my water brush and the tip of my AquaBlend pencils to color my images. So I guess I'm using both watercolor and colored pencils.
Send an email to info@ginakdesigns.com and tell them you won the 30 Day Coloring Challenge Blog Hop Giveaway on Gina's Blog! They will send your gift certificate to you by email. :)

I have been into watercolor lately! So for my project, I chose to use the new Rose Peonies from the Sunshine and Love StampTV Kit.
First, I watercolored my images with Zig Clean Color Brush Markers and cut them out with the coordinating dies.
Then, I stamped a greeting from the Painted Autumn stamp set and cut it out with Double Stitched Ovals dies and layered it on top of one of the Single Stitched Ovals dies. Then, I arranged my bouquet with adhesive and foam squares to add dimension. I created the texture in the background using the large 6 X 6 Gauze Background stamp and stamping it with Moonlit Fog Ink.
Here is an up close shot of my flowers. By embossing them first with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder, it made it easier for me to watercolor and stay inside the lines. It's my favorite way to use watercolors.
I have a giveaway today as well! I am giving away a $50.00 gift certificate to Gina K. Designs! (Winner will be announced back here at the top of this post on Monday.)
All you have to do is leave a comment on this post telling me what you like to color with the most. For me, I think I always go back to colored pencils and gamsol as my favorite, however, watercolor markers have been on my desk a lot lately. How about you?

ReplyDeleteGorgeous card. I love the flowers with the Gauze background. My favorite coloring method is still Copic Markers, though Prismas run a close second.
ReplyDeleteThose flowers are amazing!! I love to color with Tombow markers the most but I also like gel pens and sharpies depending on what I am coloring!

ReplyDeleteA really beautiful card Gina. I love your flowers and your colouring is perfect. I like using my alcohol markers but have started using Zig markers too x x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous coloring... I love your stamps... I struggle with my Zig Clean color markers. I keep trying to use the Bristol smooth paper and just never like the result. ReplyDeleteLove your card. It's a tough choice to decide my favourite colouring medium. Love my zigs, love my copies and love my coloured pencils!

ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous card! I love that stamp set! Thank you Gina, for the great inspiration as always!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Gina! For some reason, I feel like Copics are quicker for me. They may be a completely false impression :) I've enjoyed your Zig coloring lately, so I'm going to try to play with those a little more.
ReplyDeleteI tend to color mostly with my copics. But you have been showing so much with watercolor, I just may have to try that.
ReplyDeletePretty card.... I'm into anything I can add water to to make paint.... So watercolor is my fav, but anything with COLOR will work for me

ReplyDeleteYour card is so pretty! I like watercoloring.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite are colored pencils, regular or Water-colored pencils. my second favorite is Water Colors in cakes or tubes. But I also like Markers, though the good ones are way to expensive and they all seem to dry out way to fast. I use my inks, for my ink-pads, a lot for coloring also.So I prefer to spend my money rather on stamps and dies And yes your card is fantastic, I love the background and the double stitched dies. Have to invest in those.
ReplyDeleteI’m with you - Prismacolor pencils and gambol. Love your card! Thanks fro sharing!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card as always. I would have to use my Arteza markers since that is what I have. Thanks for all your inspiration and instruction. Annette
ReplyDeleteWow, absolutely gorgeous colouring! Your card is beautiful! I like to colour with pencils and Zigs. Thank you for the awesome prize!
ReplyDeleteYour card is beautiful. As for a favorite coloring medium I don't think I have one yet. I have been wanting to get the Faber-Castell but they are not in the budget yet. Thank you for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteLove the colors used in your card. My favorite way to color depends on how big the imagae is for fine coloring I like my colored pencils Prismacolors & Gamsol but if it is a large image I'll be using my Zigs!
ReplyDeleteI love coloring with my zig's probably the most, but colored pencil's are really growing on me too, even though I only have a cheap set at this time (I am saving money for the better set I have been wanting...hopefully will be able to get it in the next month or two!!!). I don't have copics cause can't afford them, but...am starting to think thats ok cause the water coloring is way more forgiving than copics would be I think. LOL Love your card! :-))
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful card, love the blue flowers and this sentiment is lovely. I love to color with my Zigs (usually quick coloring for me.) Lately, I've been pulling out my Prismacolor pencils because with the gamsol, it's pretty quick coloring too. Thanks for your inspiration and generous giveaway.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. I love using watercolor pencils.
ReplyDeletebtw I started learning to make cards by watching stamptv.
Coloring with heart is my favorite medium. You see, I'm not so great with any of the mediums yet (getting better, but still not there!), so I figure if I color with heart, my card recipients will respond to that and ignore any "missteps" on their cards! Thank you to Gina and all you wonderful paper artists for inspiring me to keep at it and for introducing me to techniques which DO make me look like a pro!
ReplyDeleteYour card is lovely. My favorite medium is copic markers. I also love using distress oxide inks for water coloring.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful flower and card! I love coloring floral images the best using all different kinds of mediums. Thanks for the chance to win an awesome giveaway!
ReplyDeleteYou always make beautiful cards Gina! I just finished watching the replay of your Facebook Live video with Rina...you two are a hoot together!! Anyway...I'm really not much of a colorist, so I have to say I feel safest using the zig markers with White embossing like your card above!!
ReplyDeletegorgeous card and lovely coloring - I love to color with copic markers:)
ReplyDeleteYour card is stunning. My favorite medium for coloring is Copic markers. But I must say as age diminishes my eye sight, stamping has been happening more & more.

ReplyDeleteLike you Gina, I also love coloured pencils and gamsol. Would love to get some Zig markers and Copics to see how I like those too.
