ETA: We have a winner!!
Hi Gina, Boy it is hard to pick a favorite. Lately, I've been challenged the most by watercolor. I've been using my water brush and the tip of my AquaBlend pencils to color my images. So I guess I'm using both watercolor and colored pencils.
Send an email to info@ginakdesigns.com and tell them you won the 30 Day Coloring Challenge Blog Hop Giveaway on Gina's Blog! They will send your gift certificate to you by email. :)

I have been into watercolor lately! So for my project, I chose to use the new Rose Peonies from the Sunshine and Love StampTV Kit.

First, I watercolored my images with Zig Clean Color Brush Markers and cut them out with the coordinating dies.

Then, I stamped a greeting from the Painted Autumn stamp set and cut it out with Double Stitched Ovals dies and layered it on top of one of the Single Stitched Ovals dies. Then, I arranged my bouquet with adhesive and foam squares to add dimension. I created the texture in the background using the large 6 X 6 Gauze Background stamp and stamping it with Moonlit Fog Ink.

Here is an up close shot of my flowers. By embossing them first with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder, it made it easier for me to watercolor and stay inside the lines. It's my favorite way to use watercolors.

There are lots of prizes in this giveaway! Check out Kathy's Blog to enter to win the prizes below and check on the individual blogs along the way to see what others might be doing!

I have a giveaway today as well! I am giving away a $50.00 gift certificate to Gina K. Designs! (Winner will be announced back here at the top of this post on Monday.)

All you have to do is leave a comment on this post telling me what you like to color with the most. For me, I think I always go back to colored pencils and gamsol as my favorite, however, watercolor markers have been on my desk a lot lately. How about you?

  168. Love your card, it's so pretty! I love to color with colored pencils, copic markers and watercolor markers. I tend to switch them around and try new techniques. I've been watching Rina's video's, she at U of M, correct? What is her major? I graduated from there almost 40 years ago, great school. Hated the snow and now live in AZ. Kathy's challenge is terrific!

  175. Hi Gina, Boy it is hard to pick a favorite. Lately, I've been challenged the most by watercolor. I've been using my water brush and the tip of my AquaBlend pencils to color my images. So I guess I'm using both watercolor and colored pencils.

  189. I have to admit to plain old watercolor pencils and a water brush. Not real exciting, but that is what I do best. There are a lot that even though I have them, I really have not tried. i have an almost full set of Spectrum Noir pens, Spectrum Aqua, A ton of color pencils and the Spectrum Noir gamsoil for them, plus stamp pads everywhere, I just love my watercolor pencils.
