As I sit here sipping on my coffee, I am reminded of how many great conversations I have had with friends and family over this hot cuppa' therapy. It made me realize that we needed a stamp set to send to those coffee enthusiasts and java therapists in our lives (which is just about everyone I know!)

Here is a little card I whipped up last night in no time. I used some Blue Lagoon, Lipstick and Grass Green ink along with some White, Black Onyx and Blue Lagoon Card stock. I had a few buttons in my button jar that were a close match so I adhered one with some DODZ and Black Onyx Twisted Twine. The embossing folder is an old Cuttlebug Swiss Dot folder but you can use any folder to add a little texture. I scored along the edge of the embossed area to finish it off and stamped my greeting with some Black Onyx ink.

I totally agree with your sentiment that coffee is therapy. I love the retro look of these cups, reminds me of so many times!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute stamp set! I don't drink coffee, so I would have enjoyed a "tea" stamp, but I know I am in the tiny minority, so I really can't complain. I would still use the cups and the steam really adds something. Your card is darling. I can't get enough of those new colors!
ReplyDeleteLove the new stamp. Coffee is good for a marriage too :)
ReplyDeleteOh this is fun. The steams are the best.
ReplyDeleteLove this cute set and your card is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThis set and your card are adorable!!
ReplyDeleteLove this card and love this set! Do you mean to say that the only way to get this set is to buy $75.00 worth of product from your store? I am in Canada so that won't be happening with our low dollar against the US dollar!
ReplyDeleteHi Oma, Yes, this is an incentive set however, we will be adding it to our regular inventory down the line.
DeleteFun blog hop! The cups are so cute.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a cute set of stamps. I hope they will be available later on just as a purchase too!
ReplyDeleteYes, they will for sure. :)
DeleteGorgeous card, Gina. Wow, this new set is awesome. You and the DT have shown so many ways of using it and can't wait to get mine. Thank you for inspiring me!

ReplyDeleteFun, fun blog! Started thinking, no I don't need that set, ended with Yes definitely need that set! New ideas and techniques, would love to see how Sean lined up all the cups, and the mirroring from Susie. Love all the cards, including yours! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful way to enjoy that first cup every morning. Thanks for the inspiration.

ReplyDeleteI don't drink coffee, but this set is so cute, I might have to start! lol
ReplyDeleteThis is truly an incentive for me. I've not ordered for a long while and getting this set free is EXTREMELY tempting. Coffee stamps is a weakness for me and especially when they look so retro cool like this. Need to go shopping after work to get some GinaK goodies. :o)

Cute stamps. Coffee...one of my favorite things.
ReplyDeleteI love this set and you are right. It is such great memories to think of the people (friends and family) that I have sat and had coffee with. And wonderful conversations. <3
ReplyDeleteOoohhh, Love the new coffee cups and sentiments, Gina!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet card.
What a great idea for a stamp set! And cute card!
ReplyDeleteLove these.
ReplyDeleteCute card. The button is a fun addition and really matches well. I LOVE this new set. I just finished the hop and there are so many great possibilities. As much as I enjoy coloring, I love the fact that the cups can be stamped in any color for CAS cards. The cups look great in the new colors. Also loved Melanie's idea of using the steam for a border - gives even more possibilities.
ReplyDeleteFun hop and cute cups but not a coffee drinker :(
ReplyDeleteLove your card with all the colored cups! Thanks for a great blog hop with a super cute set!
ReplyDeleteAdorable stamp set and I love your card!

ReplyDeleteVery cute set! I don't drink coffee but drink lots of tea and love to collect cups.
ReplyDeleteAdorable new set, love a good cup of coffee!
ReplyDeleteI love the cups and your card is beautiful! I am a TEA drinker though. Can some one create a set with tea as the focus?
ReplyDeleteLove this set Gina....
ReplyDeleteAlways a use for a set like this because there will always be coffee drinkers...or soup in a cup even.
Beautiful set. Love it!
