Hi Friends!
I hope you are all surviving the end of the school year and enjoying the start of summer! I don't have a new video this week and I apologize for that. It's been quite the week.
For those of you who only like messages from me regarding stamping, now is the time to hit the delete button and go on about your day. :)
So, my Mom has come to live with me for a couple of weeks while my sister is away. Although I love my Mom, it does change the dynamic of my work schedule and leaves me little time to get done my usual nine million tasks each day that make StampTV and Gina K. Designs happen!
Yesterday, my Mom wanted to see my daughter's apartment. Of course, I should have been filming StampTV however, it's my Mom. So I figured that I would go to the studio in the evening instead and just work late once everyone else was home to be there with her.
That didn't quite work out the way I had planned. After I made dinner, I was cleaning up the kitchen and I felt like my nose was running, I went to grab a tissue and, (graphic language coming...) blood starting flowing out of my head like a spigot.
Disgusting enough for you? You're welcome.
So, I thought it was just a little nose bleed. I ran up to the bathroom and just did what you do when you have a nosebleed. Except, it didn't work. Nothing worked. In fact, I was starting to feel dizzy. So I yelled for Tom and he swept me up and rushed me to the ER.
Unflattering photo warning:
Don't you LOVE my hair?
If you ever want to get into the ER ahead of every other person, bleed a lot. In fact, wear a shirt that makes you look like you've been shot. I'm telling you. They hate that! They will do anything to make it stop! Thank God.
So, I the final diagnosis was a capillary cluster rupture that was taken care of by the clamp and an Afrin Nasal Spray soaked cotton ball in that gorgeous photo above.
I was lucky. If it had been a posterior bleed, (way in the back on my nose,) it would have been much worse.
So. I came home and went to bed. No card. No video. No sneezing allowed.
I dreamed about it all night. That was especially nice!
I decided to give myself a break. With close to 700 videos at StampTV, I know there are plenty of fun things to watch and I also know how loving and understanding our community is. So, I will be back next week with a new video. I just wanted to fill you guys in on my exciting personal life!
Much love to you all!
Hugs,
Gina K.
Oh my goodness! Well that had to be more than a wee bit scary. I'm glad that the ER was able to fix you right up. It sounds like you need a few days to relax. So go for it, we're not going anywhere. Sending healing thoughts your way.
ReplyDeleteOh you poor thing!!!! I sure hope all is well today. Pamper yourself today with a cuppa joe and your laptop!! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteLinda
Oh Gee !! Gina I hope you are ok !
ReplyDeleteOh, my. Enough excitement for one night! Feel better!
ReplyDeleteRELAX. You work way too hard. Take a few days and do nothing (which is very hard to do) We all love you and will be waiting. No problem
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you had to go through all of that. Must have been frightening. Thank heaven for ERs and what they can do. Rest up and get well soon. Edna
ReplyDeleteAwh, our precious Gina! I'm glad they took care of you quickly! I'll have to remember the bloody shirt thing…LOL Take car of you and I'm glad you get a little extra time with your momma! Hugs. Love you! <3
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely crazy picture. You look like an alien. Brave of you to share. Seriously--what a horrible experience. Your humor got you through this, for sure. Hope your Mom is well, too.
ReplyDeleteHow so sweet of you to think of us. We are greedy, for sure.
The good thing is you have an incredible design team, too, who can carry the load to give you a break. But you are right about all the videos--enough to choose from for the time being. Even Michele Zindorf took a few weeks and just did blasts from the past.
Speedy recovery.
Tish
Oh Gina, I got very nervous when I saw you had a trip to the ER. I'm glad you were taken care of and it wasn't the worse of the two. As you said there are many videos to watch will you take some very well deserved time to take care of you. Sending a big hug to you, your sweet Mom, and the family!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry you went through that Gina, but so glad it wasn't anything to serious. Take care of your self. Sending prayer's & hugs :)
ReplyDeleteSo glad that they were able to fix you up so quickly! I suffer frequent nosebleeds and due to being on blood thinners it is NOT a pretty site!! I have woken up in the morning before and looked at my pillow only to wonder if I had killed my hubby in my sleep because there was so much blood! Not a fun thing to wake up to.
ReplyDeleteI have gotten pretty good at self cauterizing because I hate going to the hospital! Not smart, I know but it saves lots of money! LOL
Glad you are okay!
So sorry that happened to you, but what a great sense of humor you have! Best wishes and prayers for healing. Always look forward to your videos and new products, but we can wait!
ReplyDeleteOh wow. Please take care of yourself but glad to hear it was treatable. Thanks for taking the time to explain.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh..I am so glad someone was there with you.Rest and feel better Gina.We will all still be here when you come back.
ReplyDeleteOh Gina, that is so scary. Glad you are on the mend and sending prayers for speedy recovery! Bette
ReplyDeleteJust glad it wasn't anything serious. Get some rest and spend some time visiting your mom.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you had to go through this. Maybe it's a sign that you need to give yourself a break. Take care. Hope it's a quick recovery!
ReplyDeleteOMG you poor thing! I'm happy they were able to remedy the situation quickly and you are home mending. Yes, you have a vast array of videos that keep us informed, inspired and busy so PLEASE ... take a break, relax, spend time with Mom and know your loving crafting community understands and will wait until you are 100%.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Love that little 'nose embellishment' ... that could be the next fashion craze ... LOL ... NOT! Hugs from Ohio!
OMG! I can't even imagine how scary that was for you. Glad the ER personnel was able to get it taken care of. Take some time to relax. You provide us with so much joy in your videos that you need some joy yourself! Besides every time I watch even one of your older videos, I always discover something new. Speedy recovery!
ReplyDeleteYou definitely deserve a break. Relax and feel better.
ReplyDeleteYou poor thing! You take care of yourself Gina, we aren't going anywhere family and your health are top priority. Without that you have nothing!

Stamp TV can wait! You take care, business is not everything.
ReplyDeleteYour deserve the break. Health is most important and visiting with your Mom is to. Love your humorous post.
ReplyDeleteSo glad it was nothing worse! Take care of yourself and your family. Everything else comes second!!
ReplyDeleteOMG - hope you are feeling better soon- not to worry about the video - we shall wait for another awesome one from you - take care!!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear of your situation, and hope that the worst of it has passed - to never come back :-). Take care, and listen to your body - it's trying to tell you something. We women, have a tenancy "not to listen" when it comes to "us." But, remember, we have to take care of us first, before we can take care of anyone else. Again, the body is trying to tell you something. Hugs & be blessed.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad it turned out well and was nothing serious! But I hear you on the blood factor...the staff will jump over desks and other people if someone comes in soaked in blood! All seriousness aside, that picture of you with the clamp on your nose and cotton up your nose is waaaaayyy better than a video!! hahaha...no really I shouldn't be laughing...but hahaha...
ReplyDeletethanks, Gina. Praying for no future problems :)
How scary! Who cares about a video? We are just so glad you are okay. You take care and mend. We will be right here waiting when you are all better. Thanks for all you do for us.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, so sorry! Hope it's over and done with now, and you don't have the problem again. I get nose bleeds a lot, but never so bad I had to go to the hospital! :( Thankfully they have slowed down since I started taking Vitamin K...so hopefully I won't have as much trouble this next winter when it's dry and our wood furnace is running (which is when I have the MOST trouble). Will miss your new video...but look forward to another one when it comes out! Take Care of yourself and your family!
ReplyDeleteWhat an ordeal. We're happy that you're feeling better. Take care of yourself. We look forward to seeing you soon on Stamp TV.
ReplyDeleteRelax & feel better soon. You have to take care of yourself too, ya know. Hey, thanks for being real.

ReplyDeleteSorry to hear of your ER visit. Pretty scary!! This happen to my husband while I was gone and taking care of Granddaughters in April. He also ended up in ER for a few hours. YUCK!! We live at 7500 ft. so nose bleeds can happen but nothing like he had experienced and sounds like (and looks like) what you went through. Glad that you are better. Take care of you and don't fret about pleasing all of us. You do have a lot in "your library" of fun!!
ReplyDeleteSo pleased to hear of the positive outcome to your ER visit. Sending you all my best wishes for quick and complete healing and NO relapse or future incidents like this! :)
ReplyDeleteOh my sorry u r under the weather . Please take care of yourself, and have a great day.

ReplyDeleteDon't worry about the video. The main thing is that you are okay. Just rest and we will all survive without one and we can review all the many wonderful ones you have already filmed. When you are feeling up to it again, then we shall enjoy your fabulous talents again. Take care.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of this. You certainly need to take care of yourself which might be difficult with your mom there. Don't worry about StampTV just take care of you and mom!!!
ReplyDeleteSending you prayers and hugs.
Take the time you need to heal! We'll be here when you get back.
ReplyDeleteI THOUGHT YOU HAD BEEN STAMPING WITH YOUR NOSE. OUCH. GLAD YOUR OK AND GET WELL SOON. WE MISS YOUR VIDEO'S. WE LOVE YOU GINA <3
ReplyDeleteOh, you poor thing! Those ruptures are scary and can be disastrous! So glad that you are feeling better. Supressing a sneeze is the hardest thing in the world and especially so when to you are specifically told not to do it. I think you have the videos covered! I am always able to find inspiration here.
ReplyDeleteHugz!
Oh my, so thankful it wasn't any worse (that is bad enough). Glad they got it fixed o.k. Take card of yourself and I pray for quick healing and rest for you.
ReplyDeleteOh Gina Thank Goodness you didn't go to the studio before this happened...I'm so glad you were home and that your husband was there too. You look pretty uncomfortable but your right it beats what could have been a surgical recovery..Hope that you take the down time you need to fully recover knowing that we will be here when you come back but there's no rush.. ps good to know about the ER and blood if ever I need to go but I'm not bleeding I'll be sure to toss some ketchup on my shirt and save at least 2-3 hours of waiting!! lol!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I'm glad it wasn't any more serious than it was. Take some time off, enjoy the time you have to spend with your mom (I wish I had mine to spend time with), and we'll see you when we see you. We aren't going anywhere, and I, for one, have been going back and looking at prior videos and having a great time.
ReplyDeleteThings like that are very scary, but thank the Lord, it seemed like it was easy to fix. Take time for yourself and enjoy every minute you have with your Mom. We will all be here when you can" return to your regularly scheduled program"....LOL Take care and God bless........
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I am glad you are alright but what an experience. Take it easy. We can wait for more inspiration until you feel more inspired. :P
ReplyDeleteIt must have been a scary experience bleeding so much. So many things going through your mind, not knowing what it could be from. So glad it was not serious. You do need a break from everyday stress. Relax and let others help you and get pampered by attention and love. You deserve it.
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself. We will be fine, and more grateful for your next video. :)
Your honesty and loyalty to us is precious. So glad this could be taken care of quickly for your sake. Sitting in any ER is never fun!!! Hugs and prayers!!
ReplyDeleteWow that must have been scary! Just take a break from life and heal up. Enjoy a little time with your mom and recoup for next video, we have lots of things to look at on the site.
ReplyDeleteTrip to plaza ER are never fun. I'm glad that they got you right in and could fix the problem quickly. Plz take care of YOU, everything else is secondary. Prayers for you and extra ones so that your house gets back to normal. Hugs
ReplyDeleteGina your the sweetest taking care of your Mom, worrying about us and not being able to tape your video. It must have been very scary seeing all that blood, so I'm happy it wasn't more serious, hope you feel better very soon. I know you have a great sense of humor that helps you through any crisis so when I say that I loved what you wrote about how "Tom swept me up..." You'll understand that It read like the beginning of a romantic novel. Yay for Tom, your knight in shining armor. Hugs and blessings to all of you.
ReplyDeleteTake it easy and relax...take care of yourslf...
ReplyDeleteHugs....
Gina, Feel better Soon! As someone that had medical issues, I can relate to what you are feeling, and pray for a quick resolve for you. Love Ya
ReplyDeleteOMG, hope you will feel better soon.
ReplyDeletebe very careful when you remove those cotton balls from your nose. Same thing happened to my husband, and he tried to remove the cotton balls from his nose several hours after we visited the ER.
Guess what? Yap, another visit back to the ER, and this time I had to stuck some tampons up his nose before we arrived ER.
I love your videos, but love you more. Please rest a bit and take care of yourself. There's plenty of time for stamping videos later. Feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteOMG, hope you will feel better soon.

ReplyDeleteOh gosh, sorry to hear this. Be well.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon,I know how scarry that can be, because the same thing happened to my mother when I was gsrowing up, and we had to rush her to the ER. Take it easy for a few days.Love your videos, but I have mush to do anyway.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, what an ordeal to go through! So glad it wasn't any worse. Hope your mom isn't too shaken up by it. Just rest, get well, and when you are all healed, we will be here. 😌
ReplyDeleteSo so sorry Gina. Wonder why that happened but then, just glad you are okay. I'm sure everyone can survive for a week so just get yourself better....
ReplyDeleteGina, so sorry to hear you're not well! Sometimes our bodies just say "stop"! Hugs and prayers for a quick recovery. Enjoy some down time with just you and your Mom!

Amy
Glad that things have ended on a somewhat positive note for you.
ReplyDeleteTrying to be Wonder Woman just doesn't always work out for us, does it?
I do believe you made the right judgement call by taking care of Mom and yourself, and Stamp TV will be there when you are able to be up and running full tilt.....prayers!
Oh Gina, I am so sorry you had to go through that. I hope your feeling much better today. Take it easy and just enjoy some "you" time. Hope you have a beautiful and blessed weekend.

Sometimes our bodies have a way of telling us to slow down and put our feet up. Your's decided to make sure you got the message. Hope you are feeling better and be sure to take some time to enjoy your Mom's visit. Chat and ask all those questions we wish we could ask when they are gone. {{{hugs}}}
ReplyDeleteWow, oh yes, Gina, this could have been a LOT worse. I was a nurse for 20+ years and only saw one bad case of nosebleed, and we sent him to the hospital. You relax now, and take it easy, my friend. Life can be full of drama, but God sees us through it all. Big hugs,
ReplyDeleteSharon
aka Sunshine
Oh dear... these things come when we least expect them, don't they? Have a lazy weekend and hope the sun shines for you. Greetings from sunny UK! x
ReplyDeleteGod Bless You Gina, best wishes for a speedy recovery, so happy to hear that all will be well with you, a little TLC and Rest !
ReplyDeletePlease take care! What a scare that was! Hugs and prayers coming your way!!!
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself. There are so many wonderful videos to watch and learn from until you are better. Thanks so much for your hard work and professionalism.
ReplyDeleteAww Gina, how scary! I am sorry that happened to you. I hope it does not ever happen again! Thanks for the story. I know that you don't have to tell anything about your personal life, but am glad that you did share. I feel like a family member here. You just take it easy. We all love you, and no one is going to go anywhere just because of one missed video. Even if you missed 10 of those wonderful video's, I would still hang in there and wait for you. You make my life much better. Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you are doing better, Gina. This reminded me of taking a trip with my 90 year old Poppa to my sister in Idaho. The first night, being on Coumadin, Daddy developed a severe nosebleed as well. We finally resorted to using a tampon, and, all being slightly crazy, we tied the string in a bow. Out father graciously allowed us to take pictures of him as well!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! Loved reading the details of your event...not that I am happy about it but you captured it so well with your words! Hope this does the trick and you have no more problems! Yes, we have enough wonderful videos to appease us..... for now! :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh Gina! So happy you are doing better. That must have been so scary! Just rest and enjoy time with your mom. No need for apologies.
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha, I have to say that you wear that nose clamp like no one else. Marvelelous! Seriously, rest, take it easy, and we have lots of videos to watch from the past. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteYour videos are worth waiting for! Spend time with your Mom and take an obviously much needed break. All of us will still be here. Prayers and good thoughts coming your way!
ReplyDeleteSo glad it wasn't serious. BTW, that contraption makes you look a bit like a wild boar, albeit a very cute one. :)
ReplyDeleteHow very scary for you. No we're not going anywhere, and We very much understand that life happens. Enjoy a few days with Mum and get yourself healthy. You won't be able to carry on and enjoy your work if you are not healthy. I lost my Mum in March of this year - make the most of every minute with your Mum. Julie
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. Thank the Lord you're alright. You definitely deserve a pass on the video. Lol. Loved your description of the incident. Be well and take care of yourself. Prayers and gigs coming your way.
ReplyDeleteRelax and enjoy some time with your mom
ReplyDeleteWow so sorry I hope you feel better soon don't worry we can wait for a video just rest and take care
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Gina! Take care of yourself and don't worry about any videos for now. We can all watch the other ones until you are better. And until you get your Mom situated.
ReplyDeleteSusan
Oh my goodness. Glad it wasn't worse, they fixed you up quickly and you were able to go home. Enjoy the time with your Mom, some day she won't be here.
ReplyDeleteShould we all send you a card ?????? We miss you and hope you have a quick recovery !
ReplyDeleteOh how awful! Glad it all turned out ok! Family always comes first so take care of your mama and we will be here next week. Don't stress over filming when much more important family & health issues prevail at the moment. Peace be unto you!
ReplyDeleteGlad your ok, Gina! Glad Tom didn't pass out when he saw all the blood! I hope you can rest and enjoy some time with your mom.
ReplyDeleteOh goodness, how truly scary that must have been. You are in our thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery! Relax and enjoy a bit of time off with your Mother. See you next week!
ReplyDeleteGina, So sorry to hear you had a bad day yesterday. Nose bleeds are never fun, I suppose the clamp on your nose was not any fun either. God bless you with a wonderful day. love Carolyn
ReplyDeleteI know your viewers would want you to get rest and get better. As much as we enjoy your videos your well being is more important. Take care of yourself first. Keeping you in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteOh Gina, So sorry to hear. Take care and feel better real soon. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteScary for sure! Just take care of yourself...we can wait!
ReplyDeleteOh my how scarey hope you feel better soon
ReplyDeletewow, that was scary! Don't worry about the video, take card of yourself. sounds like you could use a little break!!
ReplyDeleteYour videos are fantastic! I love watching them. They are great inspiration and so well done!
hope you are better soon!
blessings,
shelia
You just keep finding new ways to educate us! Praying for complication-free recovery for you and that this was just a one-time thing. Take the rest you need!
ReplyDeleteGina, sorry to hear of your health issue and am happy to hear that you are recovering. Feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteRuth.
Your Mum and health are far more important than videos.
ReplyDeleteGlad the ER got your fixed up.
My brother used to suffer terrible nosebleeds that could fill buckets and ended up having to have the veins cauterized.
Look after yourself honey.
OH, my gosh, how frightening is that. So sorry!! So glad it wasn't any worse. Hope you are doing better and have the clamp off your nose. How uncomfortable was that!!!! Take some time, rest, put your body at the top of your priorities. We can all, if we need a video fix, watch some older ones that possibly have missed. Your health comes first. Please take care. Hope your are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteGina, hope you get well soon. Take care !!!!
ReplyDeleteOoch. I am so sorry. Take all the time you need and rest up. Like you said there are lots of videos to watch or re - watch if we choose to. hugs.
ReplyDeleteGina,
ReplyDeleteTake care and rest, I can sympathize, I have had 2 or 3 of these in the past week, and can be scary, I am on oxygen and get dried out, between that and allergies, I have to be cautious on sneezing and drying out, I am a faithful user of my net pot and lube the old nose and keep it moist and clean. . There is plenty of great videos to re visit, just take care of your self.
Great big hugs your way,
Donna
Glad it all turned out in your favor - like your hair shorter but the long look is lovely too - just saying - but I understand - my hair is long and people are always telling me they like it shorter - I might make it to get a clipping soon - hmmm- deciding! Have a blessed week!
ReplyDeleteGlad it was not too serious and hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteFeel better! We will find something to do while you heal...
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you had to experience this and with your Mom there too. Glad you are on the mend. Will look forward to new input next week.
ReplyDeleteYou missed your calling, you should have been a comic writer! Still laughing...Better days ahead, and find a way to trust in the Lord to enjoy your days including your Mom.
ReplyDeleteWow - that must have been a bit scary. So thankful that it was not worse. Praying for a speedy recovery!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry, Gina! My Uncle had the same thing happen. It wasn't fun! Hope you're on the mend now. Take care!
ReplyDeleteScary indeed - you were wise to panic and call for help. My Dad had the same thing - the hospital stuck the medical equivalent of a hot poker up his nose and that was the end of that. Not fun: count yourself fortunate that you got away with a clamp and a cotton ball. You may wish to up your intake of foods high in Vitamin C, as this has been known to strengthen capillary walls - the main problem behind explosive nosebleeds . . . meanwhile, stick the video: you've got way more important things to be doing.
ReplyDeleteGoodness, I'm glad you were at home with your husband close by! His quick actions are to be commended. Now I hope you heal and this doesn't happy again because I know it had to be very scary for all of you. You take all the time you need to heal and rest up, no one will go anywhere. Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteSo thankful you were not home alone!!! Happy you are on the mend!!!!
ReplyDeletePaper Hugs,
Jan
Greetings from Canada. So sorry you have gone through this trauma. Do take care of yourself and we will all be patient and watch for your video later. Avis from across the border
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear it wasn't any worse than what it was! Really, though, you need to just relax and enjoy the time with your mom. My mom is coming for a week or two in July, and I'm just going to enjoy my time with her!!! I can hardly wait!!! God bless, and take care, Gina!
ReplyDeleteEeek I hope you doing much better today. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteGina, so glad you are ok and that you are taking a little break to take care of yourself (and MOM). How scary!!!!!!! After reading that you are ok and it wasn't anything really serious, I then was able to chuckle about your comment about blood stained shirt and the ER!!!!! LOL So very true unfortunately. Hugs and a wishing you a speedy recovery and hope that this was just a fluke and a one time thing.
ReplyDeleteMarcie
Glad you are all patched up and on the way to feeling better. Must be a sign to take a little time for yourself. And thanks for the hospital pic! As someone that can't wait to get home from work, wash my face and go for the more "natural" look (no makeup!) I appreciate your honesty and self confidence in posting a picture that shows you at a time that you are less than your best! You rock, lady! Of course, even with the cotton balls and clamps you are still stunning! Feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteGood grief! Look after yourself. Hugs
ReplyDeleteJen x
Don't worry about missing a video, We will survive. Just take care of your needs now.
ReplyDeleteOh, dear! Please take your time! Even if it takes you a month or more to go back to your videos all of us will understand. Get better Gina! Best wishes!
ReplyDeleteWowzer scary event that happened to you...Relax take care of you first... We'll see you when we see you..hugs
ReplyDeleteOh my! Glad that you are alright! That must have been very scary. Thank goodness Tom was there to take you to the ER, you could have bled out. I will anxiously wait for your next video, I just love them. But more importantly, get well first, that is much more important. Did they say why it happened? Violent sneeze? Be well!
ReplyDeleteTake time for yourself, Gina. We'll survive knowing you're doing better. And thanks for sharing that photo! It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, didn't see a drop of blood plus the earrings made a nice touch. ;) Keep your sense of humor, I love it!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about your "mishap" but I can relate. Yes, when they see the blood in ER, you jump to the front of the line. Years ago when we were stationed in Guam I had a major nose bleed. Just as it was my turn to see the medic, it was their lunch time so I was sent home. The bleeding temporarily stopped, but when I returned to the dispensary an hour later I just sat down and it started gushing again -- so moved to the front of the line. Back then, no nose clip so I was just packed with gauze and sent home. Luckily, no more bleeds like that have happened. Will look forward to your next video.
ReplyDeleteOh, no! How brave you are to post your clampy photo. =) That happened once to my husband. Since I worked for an OB/GYN practice at the time, and we used tampons for *everything*, I stuck a tampon in each of his nostrils and headed to the ER. Needless to say, when we walked in and he had those darn strings hanging out of his nose (along with a bloody tampon in each nostril), he got triaged right away! No sitting in the waiting for for us, thank you very much......glad you're on the mend, and YES! You deserve some much needed time off. Take care....

ReplyDeleteGina, God took care of you, this could of been a warning, so slow down and smell the roses. I wish you the best!
ReplyDeleteOh, Sweetie, I'm so thankful that is all fixed up and behind you now. Enjoy some down time and get better!!
ReplyDeleteOh my gracious! I am so glad that someone was home with you when it happened!!!! Glad you are ok! Take a tiny break and enjoy your mom. I am trying to remember to BREATHE. So many things that HAVE to be done, so many things I want to do. :)
ReplyDeleteWow!! Feel better soon Gina!! We can wait!
ReplyDeleteSo glad that you got right in and they took good care of you! I hope you are enjoying a little extra time with your mom and taking it easy!! I think we might be able to find a video or two for inspiration some where on here and you take all the time you need. Feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteGina, bless your heart, and your nose! You were very kind to do what your mother would enjoy. I had never heard of a capillary cluster rupture before. I hope that is your first and last. You are right -there are plenty of videos for us, and meanwhile your job is to rest up. My stamping friend and I love to watch you because you are pleasant and gentle and smiling.
ReplyDeleteDon't you dare overdo it young lady! You rest and know we all love you and want you to be better!!! Hugs!!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you are not feeling well. Just take time to feel better and enjoy the special time with your mother! We love you and are praying that you to feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteOMG- I LOVE the bloody shirt mention- I was taken to ER with a bloody sweatshirt and O'boy do they run around.... Thanks for being gutsy and showing the ER photo and than the turning back to a princess photo!!! Glad to know your OK!!! get some rest
ReplyDeleteOh Gina feel better!! The video will wait. Family and health come first!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that it all turned out as an easy 'fix'. I love your humor, sharing your beautiful picture, and letting us in on a more personal part of your life. I know it was a scary thing as it was happening, but you gave me a chuckle reading about it, even while I was feeling compassion for you. Hope all is well now...and enjoy your time with your Mom.
ReplyDeleteUgh, Gina.... I do hope things heal up and you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteYikes! What a scary experience! Now you need to relax, and spend time with your dear Mom. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteSweet Gina, I hope all is going to be well. That was terrifying! Thank you to Tom for not passing out and getting you help. Video Schmideo. Everyone loves and cares for you. Keep an eye on your blood pressure and when things are better, go straight to Madrid and watch the flamenco dancers, then to Paris for some retail / art rejuvenation therapy. Rx by RNewlun, your friend and nurse ♥ PS we can watch reruns til you are better.
ReplyDeleteLifting you up in prayer for a full recovery Gina. We miss your teachings, but you are more important and so is your mom. Thanks for letting us know what has been going on. Rest and get better soon. It's tough to be loved sometimes.
ReplyDeleteWow Tina, I can see how you would have panicked a bit. Take good care of yourself. I would much prefer a break from your wonderful videos and have you @ 100%, than you coming back too early and it would happen again. You are much more important!
ReplyDeleteTake time for yourself. You have plenty of time for stamping rest, you are in my prayers Gina.
ReplyDeleteI'm agree with everyone So sorry you had a bad night. But I couldn't help but smile at the picture. Just look at your nose and you're worried about your hair. :) Please take care and come back to us soon!
ReplyDeleteYou are such an inspiration, Gina. Not only with card making, but even in the ER you manage humor and thoughtfulness. I think we will survive without a video this week! Get some much deserved rest. Praying for you.
ReplyDeleteLook forward to your recovery and return. Rest, relax, and pamper yourself. You deserve it.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are OK. You are a good story teller so who needs a video!
ReplyDeleteWe will be just great watching Stamp TV reruns. After all it is that time of year.
ReplyDeleteI must say that the ER picture makes me notice (again) what beautiful eyes you have!
Been through the same experience but with my mother. The nose clamp is a new twist though. I'm pretty sure the ER used a Jr. tampon soaked in Afrin on her one time.
Glad you got sorted out Gina my brother had similar but he had the other style and needed to stay in hospital for two weeks to get it under control he also said it didn't do much for the headache either hope you soon feel much better looking forward to next video but in the mean time enjoy the rest
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you survived your ordeal. ER's are absolutely last on my list of places to visit. Went once with my son once for my husband and once for myself. Nice to know they are there when you need them, though. Look forward to your next video but I hope you take your time and feel better first.
ReplyDeleteOh Gina!! So sorry to hear about your scary episode to the ER!! You just take care of yourself and get better!! And you are so right that you have MANY MANY other Stamp TV videos for people to watch. Relax and take care. I love your videos and don't miss a one!!
ReplyDeleteOMG! What an experience. I do hope you are better and don't worry about another video, we have plenty to do and we will wait for you. Take this time to enjoy your mother. I so wish I could just talk to mine. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteHow scary that must have been for you. Hope you're doing better today.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
I think you earned a break this week! So glad that it finally stopped and that it wasnt any worse than it was! I am sure they check your blood pressure, so that is worth a trip to the ER! (just kidding!!) Feel better soon and enjoy the time with your Mom! We all will still be here when you get back!
ReplyDeleteBlessings and Hugs,
Mary
Glad to hear it wasn't any worse although that is certainly bad enough. I had the same thing happen a few years ago and you are right about the ER. With all that blood, they take you right away! Be careful, rest, and don't worry about videos. Enjoy your mom's visit.
ReplyDeleteGet rest and take care of yourself. We completely understand. We've all been there some way or another.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear about your nose. I sure hope you are feeling much better now. Many prayers for you!
ReplyDeleteJudy

ReplyDeleteOh my...glad you are chilling for a day or two. I know how a bad nose bleed can be...fortunately I had mines cauterized to stop the bleeding ... Thankfully it worked out.
ReplyDeleteWow Gina, that was scary. Take it easy, get some rest. Your in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeletePatti
OMGosh! Scary stuff. Glad they got it stopped. Most people don't realize how serious this situation is. Thank God for your husband! Relax and enjoy your time with your mother. We can wait, LOL.
ReplyDeleteGina,
ReplyDeleteThanks to God for taking care of you and the hospital staff who ushered you in so quickly. Take care of yourself, your loyal card makers will be here when you are feeling better and able to get back into the studio. Prayers & hugs to you and your family.
What an experience to have and how lucky you had someone close by to take you to ER. Glad you got the help you needed and it wasn't worse than you imagined. Now, it's time to take a break and allow yourself time to heal.
ReplyDeleteDo understand that you have other things to do besides Stamp TV, but gee Gina, going to the hospital and bleeding all over the place??? Seriously, do hope you are feeling better now and can enjoy a visit with your Mom.
ReplyDeleteGina, so sorry to hear of your scary experience, BUT incredibly relieved to know that ER has fixed you up. Feel better soon and don't worry about us, we are certainly not going anywhere:) HUGS
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear you're doing better. I can only imagine how scary that must have been. Enjoy the time with Mom as well. there is nothing more important than family & no one more important than Mom!! Give her our love as well. Take care of yourself & we'll wait here for the next video.
ReplyDeleteOMG! I am so glad it was stopped & hope you feel better soon! I LOVE your videos, but can certainly understand the need to take time off! TAKE CARE!
ReplyDeleteDear Gina, I'm so glad that you are ok after that ordeal. I hope you get a chance to rest and get over the trauma. I loved your hair in the picture. No worries. I have been watching your videos for so long. You were the one that got me starting in card making. I'm so grateful for you and all of the wonderful things you have taught me. When I got overwhelmed about a new technique, I used to put one of your videos on, just to hear your calming voice. Get well soon, I will be praying for you. Love, treen
ReplyDeleteGlad that ER was able to get it under control. I want one of those nose thingies for my husband's snoring! Take care .
ReplyDeleteWow! So glad it wasn't anything more serious and that - aside from vanity - you are looking beautiful! You're right...we do have a lot of other things to enjoy that you've already created. So, take care of yourself and heal!
ReplyDeleteOh My, it is a good thing that you had family there to get you where you needed to go. I am glad they got it to stop for you. Take care of yourself. If you don't take care of you and get well you won't be up to doing much of anything, especially videos. Get well. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my! Take care and we will see you soon.
ReplyDeleteWow! After a night like that you deserve a nice long break!
ReplyDeleteWe can keep ourselves busy with your great videos. Follow doctors orders and rest, rest, rest! Take care!
Glad you're better, Gina. I know what you mean about the bleeding effect on the ER. f you want to get in really fast, go in with a head bleed. I got my hair caught in a high-speed printer (big one the size of a washing machine) at work and my boss took me to the ER. I didn't even get a chance to sit down..they rushed me right back. My boss was more nervous than I was. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you got such fast treatment, Gina, and hope you're completely well by now. If not, just take it easy..the world won't fall apart if you rest another day.
Just take care of yourself! You are what is important. Sounds like you need a little "me" time. We can always watch older versions of your videos....so quit feeling guilty and sit back and relax.
ReplyDeleteWow! Thank Heavens you are okay! At first, I thought something happened to your mom! The photo "would" make me laugh...out loud...if your description wasn't so horrible. Take care and know we will always be here to enjoy your great videos!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry. Hope today has been a better day. We have plenty of videos to fall back on. (Your's are the best.) Take care and look forward to the new kit.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Jackie
I just saw this, and have to say, I LOVE the photo of you with the clamp on your nose! Yikes, but that was scary huh? I had a nose bleed similar to yours, but I had fallen and knew what had happened, So, you had to be scared; I was. Anyway, please take care, and if all of the love above doesn't make you feel a bit better, well, then, I don't know what will! LOL! And do not laugh or sneeze at this, please!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear nothing too serious ;) Glad all is well and maybe the body is telling you it's time to rest and have a vacation. Thanks for letting us know about personal life. God Bless and know that you are loved!!

What a shock! Puts into perspective how vulnerable we all are, doesn't it. So glad you are better and nothing more important than taking moments in time to care for yourself, heal and give thanks for every breath! Much love to you GK!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear this Gina, and what an experience! Glad that your husband was around to get you to the ER. Try to relax as much as possible and maybe your Mom would enjoy taking care of you while she is visiting. We are all adults here at StampTV and will certainly live if you aren't up to a video by next week. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
