Sneak Peeks Day 2

Welcome to Day two of the sneak peeks of our upcoming 3 year anniversary release!

Today's first sneak peek is a brand new springtime set by Rupa Shevde. Her adorable, whimsical style is a Gina K. Designs favorite. And this set is just BLOOMING with Blessings!

Then, Tami Mayberry has created a fabulous set that coordinates with the new Spellbinders Labels 22. You will love having a set that's perfect for all of the men in your life. (We are hoping to get the dies in just in time for the release however our distributor is backordered right now. So if you see them somewhere, grab them! Then, grab this set at our release party on Thursday night!)

Extra sneaky....

Some of you who subscribe to my blog by RSS feed, email or a reader just got an extra sneak peek of a new set coming soon by Melanie Muenchinger. That's not the one that's coming out this month. The blog entry has been corrected to reflect this month's gorgeous new sneak peek. However, it just goes to show you- it pays to subscribe. Then you are "in the know" for the future! Gotta' love those little happy mistakes. Something new to look forward to next time.

Our 3 year anniversary at StampTV!

We are so excited to celebrate 3 years at StampTV- providing you with high quality papercrafting videos and more!

We are coordinating the celebration with our release at Gina K. Designs with a big release party celebration this Thursday night.

A Year of Flowers

Welcome to A Year of Flowers Blog Hop!

The inspiration for today's hop came from Melanie Muenchinger's new book called, A Year of Flowers.

As you turn through the pages of this beautiful book, you will find inspirational projects, step-by-step techniques and gorgeous layouts to keep you inspired all year long.

Along with the fabulous stamp set, A Year of Flowers, the techniques and layouts in this book can also be used with many of the other floral sets that Melanie has created to coordinate with A Year of Flowers.

One of my favorite sets aside from A Year of Flowers is Pressed Flowers. This set has the same images as A Year of Flowers however, they are solid chunky images which allows for all kinds of fun techniques. And, if you have both A Year of Flowers and Pressed Flowers, you can make some amazing two-step stamping projects by using them together.

My project today is loosely based on one of the layouts and techniques from the book but I made mine using Pressed Flowers and the Rock and Roll technique.

This technique is SO much fun and Pressed Flowers is the perfect stamp for it!

New Release Blog Hop- Day 2

Today, the design team has put together another fun blog hop featuring two more brand new sets released on Tuesday night.

Whimsical Spring

The new stamp set Whimsical Spring by Theresa Momber contains gorgeous images the beg to be colored. But there is also a fun two-step stamping sprig of leaves that I adore. I love being able to stamp in color and then stamp the line art detail on top. These leaves make a soft subtle background or a vibrant focal area. This set has everything you need to start your spring stamping projects.

Girl Talk

I LOVE the new stamp set by Tami Mayberry- Girl Talk. These sassy sayings are just my style. I have a couple of them up on my refrigerator already! This set is perfect for cute cards, gifts and so much more. All of you best girlfriends will get a chuckle when they receive cards made with this one!

New release blog hop- Day 1

We had so much fun at our release party last night! For those of you who joined us, you know how fast and furious our party chat thread was moving! I am SURE I missed a ton of questions so I will take some time this week to reread the thread to see what I missed. :)

Today, the design team has put together the first of three blog hops featuring the new stamp sets and patterned papers released last night.

Stately Flowers 3

Melanie Muenchinger's newest addition to her state flowers series is a joy to stamp with. In the Release Party Presentation Video, I show you the way I like to color the Forget-me-Not flower in this gorgeous set. You will love the huge images and fabulous greetings. And although they are so much fun to color, they also look stunning embossed in gold or silver. Matched with the new Wisteria Lane Patterned Paper Pack, the purples in this card make you feel ready for spring!

Mehndi Wishes

Rupa Shevde's newest stamp set, Mehndi Wishes, takes this gorgeous Indian style art and turns it into a uniquely fun stamp set for crafters like us. You will love the beautiful images that work as both focal images and decorative backgrounds. And the greetings are a must have for your collection. In my sample, I use the flower image as a background and follow the lines with a Stardust pen to create sparkle and shine. And the greeting I chose for this card creates a feeling of encouragement and peace. (I'll be making a few refrigerator magnets and desktop things with this greeting because it serves as such a positive reminder.)
